Through her work in Fine Arts and Illustration, Livie Wang strives to bring together her Eastern heritage and Western upbringing. Born and raised in the American Deep South, Wang has strong ties to Southern culture and life. Nevertheless, her Chinese heritage has led Wang to have many Eastern influences in not just her art but in her everyday life. The importance of duality can be seen throughout her work, ranging from political works to those just for plain amusement.
